Terms of use

These terms cover the NeatSpeak app, keyboard and the NeatSpeak Pro subscription, made by Tidewaterlabs, LLC (“we”). Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If the two conflict, these terms apply to the extent the law and Apple allow.

Using NeatSpeak

• You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, and at least 13.
• Don't use NeatSpeak to break the law, to harass anyone, or to try to get around NeatSpeak's usage limits or security.
• You're responsible for what you send. Always read AI-written text before sending it. Clean-up, edits and replies are generated by AI and can be wrong, change your meaning, or misspell names.
• Don't rely on NeatSpeak for emergencies or for anything where a transcription mistake could cause harm, such as medical, legal or safety instructions.

Your content

What you dictate and write is yours. You give us only the permission needed to process it to provide NeatSpeak, as described in the privacy policy.

NeatSpeak Pro

• NeatSpeak Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly through your Apple ID at the price shown in the app before you buy.
• If a free trial is offered, you'll be charged when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
• The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in Settings › your name › Subscriptions.
• Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• NeatSpeak AI has fair-use daily limits to keep the service available for everyone. The app tells you if you reach one.

Beta versions

TestFlight builds are pre-release software. They may have bugs, change, lose data or stop working, and the beta may end at any time. Please don't share beta builds or invitation links.

Changes and availability

We may change or stop features, including NeatSpeak AI, and we'll try to give notice in the app first. If we make material changes to these terms we'll update this page and the date above.

Disclaimer and liability

NeatSpeak is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for messages sent with text NeatSpeak produced, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for NeatSpeak in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
